Support the Day-to-Day Mission of GIVS Incorporated

GIVS Incorporated was created with a simple belief: when people in our community need help, someone should be willing to show up.

Since 2024, we’ve worked to turn that belief into action right here in Leavenworth and surrounding communities. We’ve provided food to families, organized donation drives, supported individuals returning home and rebuilding their lives, helped children and families, given away bicycles, connected people with resources, and created community events centered around giving back.

We don’t believe helping people always has to be complicated. Sometimes it’s groceries for a family going through a difficult week. Sometimes it’s clothing for someone who needs it. Sometimes it’s helping a person returning home after incarceration find their footing. Sometimes it’s making sure a child gets to experience something special. And sometimes it’s simply being there when someone needs to know that their community hasn’t forgotten about them.

That’s what GIVS is about.

While we are currently raising funds separately toward our goal of establishing a permanent GIVS Community Resource Center, this fundraiser serves a different purpose. Donations made here support the ongoing, day-to-day programs, activities, outreach, and operating needs that allow GIVS to continue serving our community.

Your support may help us purchase supplies for a community giveaway, provide food and essential items, support youth and mentorship activities, assist with reentry and community outreach initiatives, cover necessary program expenses, or simply give us the resources we need to respond when a legitimate community need arises.

We are building GIVS for the long haul. Our vision is to create an organization that doesn’t just appear for one fundraiser or one event—we want to become a consistent resource that our community knows it can count on.

Every contribution matters.

You don’t have to give hundreds of dollars to make an impact. When a community comes together, $5 becomes supplies. $10 helps fill a need. $25 supports a program. And every donation combines with the generosity of others to help us do more.

We also believe that support isn’t limited to money. If you can’t donate, sharing our story, volunteering your time, connecting us with resources, or simply telling someone about GIVS can help move our mission forward.
