Give Leanne a Home

Hello my friends and family. Most of you will recognize this picture of my beautiful little girl Leanne. Most of you know the story about how her and her sisters came into my life. What many of you don’t know is Leanne is a fiercely, independent young lady, who has Cerebral Palsy that has left her confined to a wheelchair with limited use of her left hand and is completely dependent on aids to see to her most basic needs. Even with all this she graduated from Edinboro University and obtained a masters degree from Gannon. She decided to stay in the Erie area so that she could live as much of an independent life as possible. That was over 10 years ago and she has done pretty well.

Unfortunately she has also had a long battle with finding a job, decent housing and many people that have taken advantage of her over these past 10 years. Leanne is a trusting, sweet and loyal young lady, who sees the good in everyone she meets. She is quick to help and trust anyone who asks. Unfortunately, this has left her broke, battered and emotionally abused and in need of coming home.

This is where you all come in. We have tried for the past 2 years to get financial support to remodel a place for Leanne. If any of you have ever dealt with government agencies, you understand how tough it is to get anywhere at all and after two years we have gotten nowhere. I am asking all of you to consider donating this Christmas to Leanne to help in giving her a home that will last a lifetime. I have arranged with vendors and contractors to fix up a space for Leanne that will give her a safe and secure place to live and be with her family and friends year round. All donations will go to support Leanne and her needs, a handicap bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, and living area. As well as easy access to the street and transportation so she may lead an independent life. I do not make this request lightly and I am very much aware of how financially tough it is these days, but I am out of options and reaching out for any help to get her home.
