Help me see my father who has leukaemia in Queensland
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Rachelle and I am disabled and living week to week on Centrelink with no help.
I found out recently that my father has leukaemia and the moment they found out they had him put straight in the hospital from his routine pathology appointment and started on chemotherapy the next day. He also requires a bone marrow transplant.
I haven’t been able to see the old man in 2 years because of my condition and state of living (don’t tell him I called him an old man) but he is the strongest person I know. He is and always has been my best friend.
I have created this as I am desperate to go see him, hug him, hold him and tell him to his face how much I love him but I cannot gain the funds to afford flights and accommodations.
I am hoping to get there by the start of April once all the visitors who are hurrying there now are gone and he is not overwhelmed.
Any help goes a long way, so if you can find it in your heart to help a daughter reach her father, I cannot thank you enough.
Thank you for your time.
