For as long as I can remember I have wanted to go on a missions trip. Every trip SouthPointe has had over the past years hasn’t worked out due to pregnancies, new babies etc, but now is the time! I am thrilled to share that this summer I will be going to Nairobi, Kenya for two weeks with my church, SouthPointe Christian Church! Our team will be working alongside local leaders to provide much-needed assistance in the areas of education, healthcare, and community outreach. This is a chance to make a tangible difference and to spread hope in communities that face many challenges.
We will be partnering with Missions of Hope International (MOHI) to support various outreach projects, including educational programs, healthcare initiatives, and helping provide resources to underserved families.
I will be serving at the Korogocho Nyayo school (the MOHI school our church partners with)
I am looking forward to giving back and sharing the love of God with others and have a chance to live out my faith by serving those in need. I feel called to step outside of my comfort zone, not only to help meet physical needs but to also bring encouragement and hope. I’m incredibly excited to experience and learn from the culture in Kenya, and to help in whatever ways I can!
In order to make this trip possible, I am seeking help from my friends and family. The cost of the trip is $3,500, and it covers everything from airfare to accommodations and supplies for the projects we will be working on. I am asking if you would prayerfully consider supporting me through a financial donation. Any amount would be deeply appreciated and will go directly toward making this trip a reality.
If you’d like to contribute, donations can be made here, at https://www.southpointeri.com/give (write my name in notes) or Venmo @georgianasnyder.
I’m also asking for your prayers—for both our team and the community we will serve, that we may make a lasting impact.
Thank you for considering being part of this journey with me. Your generosity and prayers mean so much, and I’m excited to see what we can accomplish together!
