I’m running 10k to raise money for Joy Connection

Hi everyone!

Anyone that knows me knows I find running HARD!! So, I thought why not help a worthy cause as well as challenge myself. I will be running 10k in April 2025.

For just over a year now I have been regularly attending creative & mindful dance and play workshops with my youngest Orla. Two wonderful ladies (Nicki & Hanny) set up a family led initiative in Bury St Edmunds called ‘Joy Connection’ which opens their doors to anyone with children who need a cosy play space to feel warm and welcome. I can’t tell you how much of a support this place has been.

Although not a charity, these wonderful, kind hearted humans single handily set up Joy Connection with the aim to helping others at its heart. They work so hard and I really wanted to try and give back in some way to say a big thank you for all they have done to help others and myself.

I hope this raises some awareness as to how important people like them are and how needed this kind of service is to parents and families.

As well as for the family, they also host a whole load of other workshops and sessions.
