In memory of Sawyer Shirley and family support

With hearts shattered into pieces, this family had to say goodbye to their sweet Sawyer as he grew his angel wings and soared straight into the arms of Jesus and welcomed home by all his loved ones in Heaven. This fundraiser is to help offset funeral costs and support the family during this most unbearable time of grief, shock and sadness and give them time to try to learn to live in a world without their Sawyer. I’ve created this GoFundMe as a way to reach out to any that may be able to help this precious family.

We never expect the worst will ever happen to us or our kids. But unfortunately, the thing about tragedy is we never know when or how it’ll happen.

For this family, their tragedy struck the heart of theirs yesterday. Their son Sawyer, age 7, drowned while swimming with his cousins on a camping trip with his grandparents. He’s at Arkansas Children’s Hospital fighting for his life. We lift him in our prayers and place him in God's healing hands.
