Fundraising to help my family survive the war in Gaza

Peace be upon you. May this message find you well.

My name is Mohammed, residing in Belgium, whilst my beloved family are amongst the thousands of displaced families living in Gaza.

Together, with my brother, Mahmoud - who is in Gaza, have come here to raise money to help my family flee this dangerous war torn city, which was once a home to my family. My family in Gaza consists of 6 members: my mother, my father, my brother and 3 sisters. All of whom have lost a home, their jobs, their education, everything.

As you all know, Gaza is under occupation and under attack since October 2023. But one of many wars, an ongoing war since 1948. It is now a city that had become worse than what you see in the horror movies. People stuck under rubbles with no help and left to die, hospitals attacked which resulted in no medical aid for the injured, dead bodies lying on the street - blood filled streets with no proper burial, you see limbs lying everywhere, you see animals feeding off bodies, there are orphans left confused - they are children, parents who lost their entire children, the young to the old beaten brutally, people being crushed by tanks, the dead hung and humiliated, no food, no safe shelter, no adequate water, moving from one area to another with the little possessions they have, people are tired, are weak, are traumatised, what is more to say, we are lost for words, these are horrific and inhumane. Such barbaric genocide, no soul should dream to see, no child deserves to observe. It does not end, and the world is watching. My brothers and sisters have no choice but now to leave and not look back, to be able to breathe and to live.

My parents are elderly and they are in need of treatment and care. My only brother was unable to complete his work, the company he worked for has been destroyed. And my younger sister also had a project: to care for young children, however everything has been destroyed.

My sister was due to undergo an operation before the war. Since the war broke out, she needs to have an emergency surgery in Egypt.

She has Benign cancer, and the condition will only get worse over time if it is not treated urgently.

I am in need of 50 thousand euros to send my family to Egypt, this includes the cost of travel, the treatments, and living costs. The remaining 45 thousand euros, will be used to bring my family here to Belgium, where we can reunite as a family, to be safe and start a new life. The entire money will be sent to my brother via bank transfer. I will post updates when there is sufficient funds to send my family to Egypt, and when my sister is able to undergo surgery and treatment. And further updates thereafter, when the funds are used to bring my family to join me here in Belgium, God willing.

My dear brothers and sisters, I ask of you to help me, to be able to help my family. I now need to ensure my family can flee Gaza, with your help, for their safety. I will use this generous contributions to fund my families exit from Gaza to Egypt. By the will of God, I hope that this can be achieved soon, and my family can get the medical attention that they need and to finally rest, be at peace and be at a safe place.
