Food for Thought - Helping Our Kingston Family

UPDATE2: We put the word out and the community responded so we thought we would give everyone a chance to make a difference in our local community. We’ve upped the goal to $10,000!! It’s a stretch but something tells me that Kingston can handle it. Thank you all for your support.

UPDATE: We discovered there is a local Kingston organization with a similar name to our campaign so we've changed our name. We still have the same mission, just a new name. Thanks to every who has donated so far! You are an awesome community!

With the current climate of uncertainty and fear we, now more than ever, need to be here for our fellow community members. We will weather this storm together as a family.

The Kingston Ale House would like to help out families that are financially impacted by the recent business closures due to the world-wide health crisis.
 
We are collecting funds to help defray the cost of meals for families in the Kingston area who are in need. The Kingston Ale House will prepare these meals for delivery or take-out and we will be personally donating one family meal per day as well as providing children's meals at no charge.

Many people have asked us how they can donate to this worthy cause so we are starting this fund raising campaign. If you would like to help cover the cost of these meals please donate any amount you feel is appropriate.  All monies collected will go directly to the cost of preparing and delivering the meals for the families in our area as well as provide funding for additional needs such as personal items and cleaning or household supplies for the family.

Note: As we are a for-profit business your donations are not tax deductible. If we get a large enough response we will consider setting up a charitable organization to handle these donations in the future.
