One cannot talk about Black, grassroots organizing in Oakland, CA without talking about Carroll Fife. From teaching our babies to running an all Black, female slate in order to disrupt business-as-usual politics in the Town, and everything in between, she puts it down for the people.
Her extraction work in the electoral arena is intended to benefit those of us who believe and fight for a just society from the bottom up. In less than 2 weeks, Carroll will head to Washington D.C. for campaign training that will help with this mission. It is a 5-day session and the cost of airfare and lodging are going up daily. Your contribution will help cover travel costs.
Our Revolution reached out to Carroll to participate in this training that she'll bring back to Oakland to help political outsiders extract maximum benefit from a system designed to exclude.
