Feeding our Kauai Volunteers!
Donation protected
Everyone is working so hard for flood relief victims and they need to eat!
Myself and others from Kapaa Kauai Pasta and Crossroads Christian fellowship have been providing food for 100+ people per day since the flood, and committed to continue preparing food as long as there is a need, but we need support! Kapaa Missionary Church has generously offered to allow us to use their commercial kitchen and will be joining our efforts beginning on Monday!
The funds from this account ALL GO to the supplies needed to feed everyone!
Here’s other ways to help:
1. Buy a Costco gift card and leave it at the Customer Service Desk with my name KAROLYN FREULER.
2. If you would like your donation to be tax deductible, you can donate to Crossroads Christian Fellowship and designate that it’s for Flood Relief FOOD. http://www.crossroadskauai.org/donate-to-cck-2/
3. If you are a restaurant and want to partner with us in providing meals, contact me to organize. We can let you know exact needs.
4. If you want to help cook, contact Rae Nam at (808) [phone redacted]. She is organizing volunteer cooking schedule.
4. Drop off food items at Kapaa Missionary Church Office Monday-Thursday 9am-4pm. 4-758 Kuhio Highway (directly across from Kapaa Foodland)
· Individually packaged chips
· Baked goods wrapped individually (like brownies, cookies, bars, etc)
· Fresh fruit such as apples, oranges, tangerines, grapes
· Croissants
· Sliced Bread
· Meal Prep individual bowls 16 ounce preferred, 12 ounce okay
· Paper lunch bags
Best way to reach me is text: [phone redacted].
Second best is email: [email redacted]
We are working directly with Malama Kauai and KGEFCU to have meals streamlined so they get into the hands of those who need them most! Starting Monday, we are concentrating our efforts for the Eastside from Kealia- Anahola, but are available for North Shore needs as well. If you know volunteers, first responders or flood victims need of meals, please contact me so we can be unified in our efforts.
I am happy to continue providing food with enough support!
Thank you in advance for your help, support and prayers!
