URGENT APPEAL: The people of Yemen need your help!
The ongoing civil war in Yemen has been cited as the worst humanitarian crisis of the twenty-first century. There has been immense destruction of infrastructure in the country, which has led to a poor economy in addition to lack of services. The war has resulted in the death of more than 50 thousand Yemeni civilians and an estimate of 85 thousand children who have died of hunger since 2015.
Yemen is one of the hardest hit countries in the world with COVID-19. The beautiful, bustling country I love is now home to devastation and surviving, starving families. Families cannot find work and cannot afford food as prices have skyrocketed as food shortages continue and COVID dominates the country from North to South.
The families of Yemen needs our help now more than ever. Please help us continue our work to provide for the families in Yemen through Mercy Bakery and HRD! Remember we can transform and save many lives with your generous donations.
