Faith Restorations Food Pantry is in urgent need of emergency funding in order to continue feeding the food-insecure population in Beaver County. While we typically feed about 3,000 hungry families every month, our numbers have skyrocketed as more and more of our neighbors lose their jobs due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to a growing number of hungry people, our pantry is also suffering from a shortage of food donations as local stores no longer have enough supply to donate. Unfortunately, we’re dealing with this emergency situation just a few weeks after our pantry was broken into, resulting in the destruction of equipment that we need to operate.
Our immediate needs are unprecedented and lives are at stake.
While we are the largest food pantry in the county, we are severely underfunded and recieve no funding through state or federal entities. Our entire operation is 100% powered through volunteers (we have no paid staff), and we rely solely on the generosity of donations— a true testament to the Beaver County community.
Given these catastrophic circumstances, we have decided to embark upon an Emergency Funding Drive to aid in stabilizing our food pantry. While we know that many of you may be facing uncertainties of your own, any amount you can donate will make a huge impact in feeding our hungry neighbors. Please consider making a donation to Faith Restorations to help our community get back on its feet, stronger than ever! At the end of the day, we’re here to serve our community and those who need help the most— the hungry.
Will you help us?
