COMMUNITY WORKSHOP: Cold Weather Bags for the Homeless

We are Free State Coalition, a Maryland-based grassroots organization dedicated to making the world a better place, one community at a time. At FSC, we firmly believe in the power of community and helping those in need. We devote ourselves to being the change we want to see in the world and being the helpers and doers who make the community thrive.

The harsh truth is, as the temperatures drop, too many of our neighbors will be left out in the cold, fending for themselves with limited supplies. With social programs being cut and shelters being full, many are left without resources, hope, or a place to go.

So, this October, let us all come together to bring hope, warmth, compassion, and dignity to those who need it the most.

FSC is providing hope by building care bags filled with essential cold-weather items in an effort to help those in need stay safe and warm this season. While this may be a small act of kindness – a warm hat, a clean pair of socks, or a meal – it can make a world of difference to someone facing the reality of winter without shelter.
