Hello, my name is Amelie I'm nearly 12 years old. Last November I fell playing netball. I thought I only had a few grazes and cuts but 12 nights later in Alder Hey, on the amazing Neuro rehab unit, I've been diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) and Non epileptic seziures. This has changed my world. I experience alot of difficulties day to day. One main challenge I need help with is my mobility. Some days I'm walking around, some days I'm on crutches and some days I can't get out at all becuase I can't walk. This makes me sad and I miss out on alot when this happens. Waiting lists are long on the NHS and wheelchairs are expensive to buy. This is where I would be very grateful for your help.

I need a self propelled wheelchair to help get me out of the house on the days I can't use my legs. It will also help save my Mums back from lifting me from place to place.

I love being outside, I love to walk and go on adventures. It gets me down when I can't do these things.
