This is my best friend/sister who has a long history of being very sick. This year has been hard. She had been diagnosed with so many things and spent Thanksgiving and Christmas in the hospital. Before that, she was in the hospital for different reasons. Her mother had to stop working in order to help take care of her. She has two twin sisters who are trying to make sense of all this. She has a father and a stepmother who have all experienced a great loss with me, along with her grandmother and the rest of the family. If you knew Amanda, she did whatever she could for anybody. She was very quiet, but when she got to know you, you couldn’t help but love her. My life will never be the same without her. The family needs help right now financially because she just got out of the hospital right after Christmas. On January 2nd, she was taken from us.
