Our hearts weigh heavy as we acknowledge the ongoing hardship, displacement, and loss faced by many Ukrainian families.

We are proud to showcase videos featuring the stories of four Ukrainian refugees, offering profound insights into their experiences of war, life in the UK, and their hopes for the future. These heartfelt narratives were captured by members of the Ukrainian community in Manchester.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Iryna, Svitlana, Nataliia, Hanna, Iuliana, and Alex for their initiative in bringing these stories to light.

Your generous contributions have enabled us to provide essential support, including provisions for food, medicine, and household necessities. This assistance is particularly crucial for those who have recently arrived in the UK, having left behind their homes due to the ongoing war. ✓ Adaptation of the Ukrainian community in the UK - we conduct Ukrainian adaptation sessions. These sessions include training on topics such as CVs and interview questions, guidance on job searching and career building through platforms like LinkedIn, and insights into starting and successfully running a business in the UK.

✓ Ukrainian Community Drop-ins - we offer support on welfare benefits, housing, and other advice. Our services also encompass free immigration advice, upskilling opportunities, emergency grants, and wellbeing and emotional support.

✓ The Voices of Ukraine Project - stands as a testament to our commitment, capturing the voices of 13 Ukrainian nationals living in Greater Manchester through 12 insightful podcasts.

✓ Walking Tours - aim to bring Ukrainians together, promoting a healthy lifestyle and helping them navigate their new surroundings.

Europia, a UK registered charity, has been providing vital and holistic support to European Nationals in Greater Manchester since 2008. In the face of challenges like Brexit, the war in Ukraine, and the post-pandemic crisis, individuals and families are increasingly vulnerable and isolated from services. Many EU nationals urgently need financial assistance for essentials like food, rent, clothing, temporary accommodation, or travel. Your donations enable us to support the most vulnerable EU nationals during these critical times.
