Erica's Missions Trip to Kenya!

Hello friends and family!!

I'm taking my first Missions Trip with my church!
I came to know Wheaton Bible Church about 3 years ago and have learned and grown tremendously alongside WBC! I have been ‘nudged’ to step outside of my comfort zone and spread the word of the Gospel!

I, Erica Alexandra Grace Lullo, am GOING TO KENYA!!!

I have always longed to visit Africa; for what better reason than to spread the word and love of God?! 
The Hope for Life Care Center is located near Nakuru, central Kenya. This program is directed by a wonderful woman named Josephine. Josephine teamed up with a few of WBC’s missionaries in the area, and God has placed his hand on Hope for Life, showering the program with many blessings. This program has prospered over the last decade, feeding, tutoring, training, and developing orphaned children who have lost their parent(s) to HIV/AIDS. The program reaches out to the Unique Mothers Project, to help widows and single mothers learn traits using local resources to sustain themselves. The team of 7 that I will be traveling with will be working hand in hand with Hope For Life, spreading the Gospel and love to all of the children at the orphanage, visiting project's that have been started in the local area, and so much more. I have been put in charge of leading the Worship (music) team, so I’ve been warming up my vocals and attempting to learn to play the guitar!

As I share my excitement and vision for this trip, I am hoping to find a team of people who will pray for me and support me financially. I need help in raising $2,600 for this trip to be possible! That will cover travel expenses, food, and lodging. 

My heart is aching for new experiences and spiritual growth!
