Ending Veteran Homelessness in Wilmington: A 2025 Mission
Tax deductible
The Sgt. Eugene Ashley Memorial Center, is a beacon of hope for homeless veterans in Wilmington, NC, seeking a fresh start. We are setting a goal to reach $1,000 in donations by Memorial Day! We believe that we as a community, can easily band together and reach this goal!
The Center offers short-term housing for up to 16 veterans and eight units of Permanent Supportive Housing for qualified applicants. Since 2001, it has successfully guided 92% of its veterans back to permanent housing.
The Center’s mission is rooted in offering a safe and supportive environment for veterans to live, grow, and gain tools for stable, permanent homes. Bridge Housing is a critical lifeline for veterans who have secured permanent housing but need temporary support. Veterans receive essential resources like meals, clothing, toiletries, laundry supplies, transportation to medical appointments, case management, and access to recovery networks and peer support.
Your donation sustains this life-changing work, ensuring veterans have the resources and support to rebuild their lives with dignity. By contributing, you’re investing in their future and honoring the sacrifice they have made for this country. Every dollar makes a difference. Thank you for supporting the Sgt. Eugene Ashley Memorial Center!
If you can’t make a donation, that is understandable; please consider volunteering your time at the shelter. This is the link to the volunteer page at:
