Emily is the most amazing 5 year old girl who has brought love and happiness to our lives.  She has a big sister and a twin brother.  Unfortunately Emily was born with an extremely rare genetic condition which as yet has not been formally diagnosed! Her main issues are her mobility, lack of speech and communication, lack of understanding of the world and particularly of danger, joint laxity, Ataxia and hyper mobility, just to name a few!!

Emily desperately needs a new bed which will keep her safe and will accommodate her needs for many years to come. The bed would benefit not only Emily but also us as Emily is getting heavier by the day and getting her in and out of her current bed is affecting our health. Unfortunately the bed that has been chosen by her Occupational Therapists is "non-standard" and therefore the Local Authorities have refused to fund it (even partially).  We find ourselves in a very difficult position as we are trying to find the funds to also carry out the much needed adaptions to our home to accommodate Emily going into the future.    

This is leaves us to find the funds to get our special lady the bed she needs and deserves. We have secured some charity funds but are still a long way short and running out of time to claim this money.
