On August 4th, our region in Lansdale, PA was hit by a Tropical Storm that ravaged the area. Around noon on the 4th, a 5 year old nonverbal autistic girl named Eliza Talal managed to wander away from her house, and citing local police reports, was swept away in a local creek behind her home. A massive search and rescue effort took place to find her, but unfortunately Eliza was found downstream on the afternoon of August 5.

This donation was  initiated by a wonderful neighbor, Michael Brothen, and has now been transferred to the family so we can fully manage the campaign. We are so grateful for the outpouring of love and support from our community! We cannot thank you enough for your kindness.

The funds will be used to support a variety of therapies for Eliza's 2 siblings, both of whom are also autistic. They will be deposited directly into the family's savings account and used at their discretion.
