Cambodia Expedition - Summer 2023

Many people in Cambodia do not have access to proper housing or toilets, so they are at risk of disease from poor sanitation.  This is due to the extreme weather from the dry and rainy seasons. They also have a lack of healthy and sustainable food sources.

In Summer 2023, I am taking the opportunity to go to Cambodia for 4 weeks to work on projects such as constructing homes and toilets, building wells and installing chicken houses.  I will also help by preserving the Wildlife Reserve through seed planting and working on reforestation initiatives.

I am extremely excited to be going to spend time within local communities getting to know the people, their culture and helping make a significant and lasting impact on the region's most important issues. 

To fund this trip I will be doing a variety of fundraising activities and events such as a sponsored walk up Ben Nevis, bin cleaning and making and selling crafts. Any additional funds raised over and above my target will be donated to The Camps Foundation (Charity Number 1125858).
