Hope & Empowerment: Pet Therapy for Girls In Need
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Supporters,
My name is Cynthia Dickerson, and I am the proud founder of Jack and Ellen Dollhouse, a heartwarming nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of young girls aged 5-12 in Mount Vernon, New York.
Our mission is to provide emotional, esteem, informational, and tangible support to underprivileged children from low-income families through the love and companionship of our wonderful pack of furry friends.
Our journey began with the passing of my beloved 94-year-old father, Jack. As my mother, Ellen, and I grappled with the loss, we also experienced another tragedy when our previous dog, Chuck, was hit by a car on Christmas. It was a devastating loss, and we were left with a void in our lives. At that point, I purchased a dog named Ricky to fill the void. Soon, our family grew to include Miley, Cooper, and eventually, Lady, each with their unique personalities and incredible capacity for love.
As an elementary school crossing guard, I witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by many children in our community, including hunger and lack of emotional support. Inspired by the unconditional love and loyalty of our dogs, I knew they could make a profound impact on these young lives.
Jack and Ellen Dollhouse aims to create a safe, nurturing, and COVID-free environment where children can develop self-confidence, self-reliance, and trust. We will offer life coaching, exercise programs, global warming education, and pet therapy to help our girls build a strong foundation for their future. By educating our young participants on global warming, promoting regular fitness activities, and introducing healthy alternatives to reduce carbon emissions, we strive to empower them to become responsible, environmentally-conscious citizens.
We are passionate about making a difference in our community and believe that your financial support will significantly enhance our hands-on operations, experience, training, and skills. Together, we can give these children the opportunity to grow, learn, and thrive in a supportive and loving environment. Please consider making a donation to Jack and Ellen Dollhouse today and help us transform the lives of young girls in Mount Vernon, New York. No amount is too small, and your generosity will be a testament to the power of love, dedication, and community support.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Cynthia Dickerson and the Jack and Ellen Dollhouse Team
