Official DIY Skatepark in Dover, Delaware
Donation protected
The long awaited city of Dover Skatepark has been pushed back yet again, although this is disappointing, the city has worked with our community to find an interim solution until the new skatepark is built. They have granted us permission to build our own DIY skatepark/skate spot on city property in the parking lot behind the old post office.
This is where you come in! We need your help to raise funds for concrete and materials in order to build an awesome community built skate park. Anything helps and every bit is appreciated!
As you may or may not know the community is in dire need of a skatepark/spot. The closest park is a 30 minute drive to an outdated 25 year old pre-fabricated skatepark in Smyrna, DE. The next closest is 45 minutes away to Skate Epworth in Rehobeth, DE. For many of the young skaters in the Dover area these parks are completely inaccessible and leaves them with no place to skate but the city itself. Having this spot will grant so many people in the community the opportunity to have a safe, enjoyable place to skate. Please consider donating to our cause and if you can’t, please give us a share to help spread the word! Again every bit is appreciated, we thank you all for your help and support❤️
