((HERE’S AN UPDATE: the charges of resisting arrest have officially been DISMISSED! WOOHOO This is the first step in accountability for our case!)))

I was recently unlawfully arrested by the LPD, faced with charges of “resisting arrest without violence” for lawfully refusing to ID under the state statute 901.151. The interaction escalated into several civil rights violations against me and my wife. The clear misconduct and absurdity of the situation quickly went viral online and as the donations came in, we began to think that what felt impossible might not be so impossible for us anymore, the fight for accountability.

The funds raised through our campaign will go towards legal fees. (Lawsuits, etc.)
