Well, what a mad year 2020 was. Sadly due to Covid-19 the initial run and Fundraiser Day in June 2020 had to be cancelled. However, now more than ever the importance placed on the need for support for Domestic Violence and Abuse services, like the Rising Sun, throughout Lockdown become evident for all to see! The rise in domestic abuse this year has been catastrophic and the pressure on services more so! This is why I am carrying on the baton and making sure this run and fundraising goes ahead- in the hope we reach our target and knowing that all donations will be going towards a great cause, watch the HerStay video to find out more about the project!
