In March, 2014, Deshon left his home in Portland, and his job of over 7 years, to come back to Dallas and bury his mother. 

Due to unforeseen circumstances, he's been living under a bridge in Downtown Dallas since.

Those of us who have had the opportunity to meet Deshon know him to be kind, considerate, smart, and funny. He is the first to step up and help others in need; literally giving the clothes off his back. 

With the help of

 and countless volunteers, Deshon is now in a position to get back on his feet. 

(This is where you come in). 

Our goal is to raise enough money for Deshon to stay in an extended stay hotel for 2-3 months (plus food, toiletries, etc). He has found stable employment, but needs to get out from under that bridge so he can work and save to get his own place.

*If we are able to raise above our goal, those funds will be used to assist Deshon with obtaining transportation and housewares.
