As the world knows, the Ukrainian people are going through what most of us could never imagine. The people there need help and aid desperately.
Brave men and women are fighting to protect their homes, families and friends. People from around the world are coming to their aid.
My name is Kendal Pickett, and my friend Danny Brown has been working with area firefighters to go and help with the never-ending work that first responders in Ukraine are dealing with. Due to constant military attacks, fires are still burning, and Ukrainian firefighters have had no relief from the dangerous job of stopping them.
This page is to help Danny cover the costs of travel, fire gear and any relief funds he may need while there. As of right now, he is paying for this out of his pocket and goodwill.
Danny will be leaving on April 4th and going for 1-3 months. His trip will start in Warsaw, Poland. He will be helping send supplies and resources to those across the boarder.
Friends of his have decided to help any way we can, whether it's helping set up a GoFundMe, giving him a place to stay while abroad or even donating clothes, food and non-perishables to other charities and relief efforts. And we are asking others to help.
Any proceeds of this fund will go directly to his volunteer trip. The volunteer group he is working alongside is Project Joint Guardian. Below is the live link to their Facebook page for more information.
Any help is appreciated and will significantly impact their relief efforts.
