My name is Dylan and I am currently a Life Scout for Troop 214 in Raleigh, NC  I am 15 yrs old and will be completing my Eagle Project this March.  I have decided to do my project at the elementary school I attended called Brier Creek Elementary.  I have volunteered many, many hours there and am really excited to have this opportunity to build them an outdoor science classroom.  I will be creating a gravel pad with timbers, corrugated pipe and stone.  After that I will be building 5 picnic tables and an outside display cabinet with doors that houses a magnetic whiteboard and covered by a roof.  This will be for the teachers to be able to have a whiteboard to teach from.  I believe this classroom will help teachers be better able to teach there science lessons and to get really creative with the hands-on projects the students can do.  It can also be a nice place for teachers to have lunch or a special reward for students to have lunch outside.  I am asking for donations to help me fund my project so that I may be able to help the students at Brier Creek Elementary.  Thank you in advance for making this project possible!
