We are raising funds to honor the memory of Dennis “DJ” Thornlow, who tragically lost his life to an act of road violence. DJ often spent time at Washington Park with his daughter and long-time partner, cooking, listening to music, and relaxing by the water. He also called Cap Sante Marina home on his sailboat, spending countless hours on the water there.

To honor his life, we hope to place a memorial bench at either Washington Park or Cap Sante Marina—two places that were deeply meaningful to him. This will be a lasting spot where family, friends, and the community can sit, reflect, and remember DJ.
