After seeing a short movie about Cycling Without Age at a film festival in New Zealand, Dave and Helga Brown decided to start a chapter here in North Idaho. We gathered three other friends to form the Board of Directors for our local chapter of this international organization which is based in Copenhagen, Denmark. The purpose of Cycling Without Age is simple, provide rides to seniors and others using specially designed tricycles. We will be partnering with local senior living facilities to schedule opportunities for residents to get out and enjoy being outside on our great city bike trails onboard one of our unique electric tricycles. Trained volunteers will serve as our "pilots."

We are a newly minted IRS 501(c)(3) organization, which means your donations may be tax deductable depending on your tax situation.

Right now we are concentrating on fund raising to purchase our first bike, which costs around $20,000. We already have a senior living facility on board to recieve it and begin partnering with us to provide this amazing opportunity to their residents.
