Clean Water for Flint during the COVID-19 Crisis

THIS IS AN URGENT CALL FOR DONATIONS to provide clean water for the residents of Flint during the COVID-19 Crisis!
Residents of Flint, MI have been suffering the past six years fighting the life-damaging and lethal effects caused by the lead found in their water system. Today, the city's plight deepens with the scarce supply of clean drinking water available during this pandemic. Flint is one of the poorest cities in the country with 41% of the residents living below the poverty line and most all residents with no continuous access to clean water. Most of the residents in poverty are young families. Flint needs our help!
Together, let's start by raising $24,000 USD to ship 9,700+ gallons of water to Flint as soon as possible!
We are partnering with the National Clean Water Collective and all water will be delivered to the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan in Flint.
How Many Trailers Can We Send:
- Ship 23 pallets of boxed water to Flint, MI
- 2.64 gallons per box
- 80 boxes = 211 gallons per pallet
- Total gallons of water = 4,857.6 gallons to be shipped in each 53' trailers
- Total expense/trailer = $12,000 USD
I will personally pay all administrative fees so every dollar given will go directly towards purchasing the water.

Distribution on Tuesday and Thursday 10am – 2pm
Martus/Luna Food Pantry – 2101 Lewis St., Flint 48506
Distribution on Wednesday 10am – 2pm
