COVID-19 Care Bags for Homeless and People in Need
Donation protected
We are a group of high school students in Pleasanton. All of us are athletes at a local swim team called the Pleasanton Seahawks. During this shelter in place time, we miss both our wet and dry practices very much. The whole community around us has changed. It is getting very quiet and so quiet that we can hear the voice from the bottom of our hearts. We decided to follow our heart to make our special splash. We strive to help our community by mobilizing the power of the kids in the community.
In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, there are many people in need that struggle to make ends meet. Getting face masks and sanitizer just another challenge. We want to help them by packaging sanity care kits to prevent them from getting infected.
These care kits are packed with washable/reusable face masks, hand sanitizers/alcohol wipes, water bottles, soaps, toothbrushes, tooth pastes and our love. Each kit costs about 7 dollars. We are aiming to make 400 of them.
All donations will go straight into supplying our care bags for those in needs.
We want to get all of these care packages out as quickly as possible.
