Support for Colleen, Derek & Ivy

Time.  It is the one thing, no matter how much we save, bargain, or buy, we cannot get more of.  Our time on this earth is finite, and goes by in the blink of an eye.  It is important to make every second count.

Ivy Lyn Ohlgren was recently diagnosed with PDH Deficiency, a rare disease that effects the body's ability to turn food into usable energy.  Due to the rarity of the disease, there is no known cure and it is terminal.  Ivy's case is on the severe side of things and Colleen and Derek have both chosen to cut back on their jobs to prioritize the moments they have left with her and make every second count.   

What you are contributing to is time.  Time for them to create the magic moments.  Time to spend watching her discover the world.  Time to explore the outdoors, to stand in wonder of a sunset, to see Ivy watch the dogs at the park, to feel rain tickle her face, and to watch her face light up at the sounds of birds singing in the morning.   Our goal with raising funds is to support them in spending what little time they have with her without having to worry about how they will pay their bills, put food on the table, or pay their mortgage.  This is your opportunity to pay for those special moments between first time parents and their incredibly special girl.
