Our Table Dublin is a Community Based Organisation, which support people seeking international protection in Ireland. We are so excited and looking for Christmas cheer for those that are living in Direct Provision Centres and accommodation for refugees and asylum seekers from all over the world. We’re launching a Gofundme campaign with the aim of reaching 5000 refugees and asylum seekers living in the DP Centres and accommodations in Dublin and across Ireland.

As we are well aware, the past two years have been very difficult for everyone, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and lately, we have also seen the devastating war in Ukraine and we have received on our show thousands of Ukrainian .refugees. No one deserves to leave his or her home, which is such a tough decision.

However, Christmas is a time when we also celebrate family spirit where this year, there will be many people that will not be able to have that luxury. It is our duty to take a little stressful situation by remembering each other and doing something nice for people who are seeking international protection.

The situation has been especially challenging and far more overwhelming for people in Direct Provision and accommodation centres, who have limited social connections and little income to support their families.

The money that will be raised will allow us to purchase One4All vouchers, to organise and deliver gift parcels to children and their parents in the different DP and accommodation centres and reach out to those in need of food in other circumstances, which will bring them smiles. We welcome to work with other community organisations to spread as many Christmas cheers as possible!

And we are also appealing to individuals, organisations to reach out to us with any support will be appreciated and we will be very thankful and grateful for your advance generosity to those who are most in need in this difficult period of the year.
