After much encouragement (and honestly, a lot of hesitation), we’re listening to our community, and have decided to start this GoFundMe.

What started as a dream of restoring our 1884 farmhouse and creating a home for our family quickly became something we never could have imagined. We hired a contractor to help us renovate the house, trusting that the work we paid for would be completed correctly. Instead, the project was abandoned, leaving us with unfinished work, major structural and electrical issues, and a home that required far more time and money to make safe and livable than we ever anticipated.

We’ve spent the past year doing everything we possibly can ourselves—learning as we go, rebuilding, repairing, and pouring our savings into getting this house back on track... All while living in an RV Camper with 2 young kids (and pets!)

We’ve made a lot of progress, but there is still a long road ahead. Many people have reached out to ask how they can help with our renovation journey... So after much encouragement, we decided to create this page where you can donate if you are moved to. Any contribution, big or small, will go toward the materials, repairs, and remaining work as we continue turning this 1884 farmhouse into our family home.
