Hi, I’m Charlotte, I’m 14 and on May 2nd Me &friends are walking from Leeds to Skipton along the canal for SELFA. As you may know SELFA is very important to me. I became part of the SELFA family when I was going through a hard time. Since then I have thrived there finding so many new friends and people to talk to, so I wanted to give something back to them. More information about SELFA: We nurture and support disadvantaged children through enriching experiences to enable them to be the best they can be. Many of the children have autism, learning disabilities, attachment disorder, mental and physical health issues. We work closely with parents and other agencies to support each child, with the firm belief that no child should be denied access to the activities and experiences that we know can build confidence and self-esteem, raise aspirations and improve attitudes and behaviour.
