25 Years in the Shadows
My name is Juan Carlos Centeno Vazquez. For over two decades, my parents, Ramona Vazquez and Miguel Centeno, were part of the backbone of the American economy. They worked tirelessly in the factories of Los Angeles and Orange County, contributing to the "Made in USA" labels we all wear and use.
They paid their taxes, raised a family, and lived with integrity. Yet, they both passed away without ever achieving the legal status they worked so hard to earn. They were "essential" during their lives but remained "invisible" to the law.
The Mission: Why I Need Your Help
I have launched a national petition on Change.org to demand a Pathway to Legal Status for the millions of long-term residents who, like my parents, have earned their place in this country.
Our goal is 100,000 signatures to bring this issue directly to the halls of Congress and the White House in 2026.
Advocating at this level requires more than just passion—it requires resources. I am raising funds to:
- Amplify the Message: Professional digital outreach to ensure our petition reaches every corner of the United States.
- Direct Advocacy: Travel and logistics to bring these signatures and the stories of the "Invisible Workforce" directly to Washington D.C. to meet with lawmakers.
- Community Awareness: Creating physical and digital educational materials (flyers, videos, and ads) to mobilize supporters in key districts.
How Your Donation Makes an Impact
By donating, you aren't just giving money; you are providing the fuel for a movement. You are helping to ensure that other families don't have to experience the heartbreak of losing a loved one who spent a lifetime waiting for a dream that never came.
- $10 helps us reach 500 new potential signers online.
- $50 helps fund the printing of advocacy materials for community centers.
- $100 supports the digital infrastructure needed to manage a 100,000-person movement.
Every dollar brings us closer to making the invisible, visible.
If you cannot donate, please sign the petition https://www.change.org/ChangeOurStatus and share this page with your network.
Thank you for standing with the workers who build this nation.
With gratitude,
Juan Carlos Centeno Vazquez
