Help struggling single mother of 3 with back rent.

This GoFundMe is about a struggling single Acton Mom of three. This busy Mom who formerly worked at Life Care in Acton has given generously to the Acton community. While we ask you today for help in reaching our goal of $10,000 (only one-third of the real need!). The real need is $30,000 to comfortably move this family out of the unhealthy living space they are currently in. Imagine the disappointment and heartbreak of this Acton Mother of three who spent two years on a waiting list for public housing in Acton to find out that the living space that was offered was both inadequate space for her family, mold-ridden, and ultimately ended up contributing to her toddler’s health issues. Her young son has been back and forth from Children’s Hospital with severe asthma-related illnesses.

This Mother of 3 is facing an insurmountable challenge of moving her family to a healthy living space with absolutely no means to do so. Until the back rent is paid this family is not eligible to move from the very cramped, ill-equipped, unhealthy 2-bedroom unit they are currently in through Acton public housing.

Our goal for this family is $10,000. We have provided pictures to illustrate the emphasis of the dire need of this family. We would like to help get this family the majority of the funds they need to move to a 3-bedroom unit in Acton public housing. No donation is too small! Every dollar raised through this GoFundMe will be given to this single Mom and her children so they can catch up with rent and be eligible to move to a larger unit.
