Jeremy Jerdine, a loving son, husband, father of four, brother and friend to many, age 33, was viciously murdered at his place of business. Jeremy sold a vehicle three weeks prior to a seemingly happy customer, who returned with mechanical issues. After coming to an agreement with the customer and arranging to have the vehicle serviced, the customer returned to my brothers place of business the following day, irate, and fired shots that ultimately killed Jeremy four days later. This senseless gun violence left my brother dead, and his wife Kenya Jerdine to care for their young ones alone. She is left with no time to mourn this tragic loss; as she is now left with all the pieces to pick up, and four children to help cope with the loss of their father.

⁣⁣ My brother was a man of vision. He was at the forefront of building a family empire, one we would all be proud of. His car dealership was his first baby. It was in its infancy stage. With his blood, sweat, and tears he gave his all to creating a business that would later help his community. One he could leave to his children. He always strove for excellence and expected nothing less from anyone around him. He was our light on the darkest of days. Jeremy was very passionate about his ministry in doing Gods work and helping people. He dreamt of accepting his true calling by starting his own church, that he would name Christ Jehovah. Jeremy was such a honorable role model for his children and anyone that knew him. ⁣⁣ Always with sound word and pure intentions. Jeremy had so much life inside him. He had so much more to give. And yet, his dream was shattered in a matter of moments.

⁣⁣ I come to you as a sister, a friend, a mother whom couldn’t fathom raising her children alone. I come to you humbled and transparent. I am asking for you to help me help my brothers dream live on. He laid the foundation, and I vow to build on it. Jeremy will not die in vein. He can’t. We will bring his vision to life. Be it the gift of money, sharing his story, praying, or saying his name- with your help HE WILL LIVE ON. Will you join me? Will you help Jeremy's legacy go on.⁣⁣

I am creating Car King J’s Memorial Fund to support Jeremy’s wife and children cope with unexpected expenses. And eventually transition into a fund that will bring his vision to life. A community of service and growth. ⁣⁣ Gone too soon, never to be forgotten Jeremy Jerdine I love you forever and always Brother, my best friend. Your dream is now mine.⁣⁣
