Cancer ruined my Holiday- Funeral arrangements
Donation protected
UPDATE —
Because of your generosity, I was able to raise $454. That allowed me to get a rental car and fuel the entire 2 day trip to pick up my mom. On November 22, I drove to Oklahoma to pick her up. She lived with me for one week exactly. I was able to spend my birthday and Thanksgiving with her. So thank you from the bottom of my heart. December 2, she was admitted into the hospital because her condition had worsen. They conducted a CT scan and informed me that the cancer had spread even more and the fluid in her lungs was back. By December 6, 1039pm my mom passed away. She was not alone, my sister and I were right by her bedside the entire time and held her hand as she took her last breath. So I’m continuing this fundraiser to help pay for the funeral home arrangements. Thank you for any help you can offer.

In 2017, my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. After a year of chemotherapy, the doctors finally reported she was in remission. Three years later, the cancer had returned, and after 1 and a half years of chemotherapy and a double mastectomy, the doctors reported “remission.”
In Dec of 2023, the doctors diagnosed my mother with stage 4 lung cancer. This time, the cancer spread to her liver, stomach, and kidneys. She was going to chemotherapy until a month ago, when she was admitted into the hospital with pneumonia. During multiple scans and imaging, they discovered the cancer had now spread to her brain. The doctors' report at this time is 4 months.
I pray to spend the holidays with my mother and make more memories. She currently lives in Oklahoma and I reside in Colorado. I'm asking for help with a ticket to get my mom to Colorado for the holidays. My mother wants to be cremated, but I still want to have a ceremony celebrating her life, and finally, I'd love to be able to take her ashes and put them next to her father's grave in Germany. I am a single woman, currently in school, working part time. I was not prepared for this at all but how do you prepare for something like this. I pray that God touches your hearts and blesses everyone that finds it in their hearts to help me make this happen.
