Dear Family & Friends,
It is not an easy task to ask for help. However it is harder to tell my awesome daughters that they cannot participate in an activity or event due to lack of funds. My humbled heart has made it here.
Both Camille and Simone have a good balance of sports, music and school currently. School is coming to an end for the year on Friday June 15 and then we are in full Summer mode! Camille played Tennis for the first time this Spring at the High School. She was the only Freshman who received a trophy and it was for the Most Improved! She learned a lot , had fun and got a very warm recognition from her team & Coaches. Simone is sad to have Track & Field come to an end. This was her first year (as a 7th grader) to be able to participate in school sports. Simone placed First in all 4 of her events at Finals. Bringing home 4 Gold Metals! This is just the beginning for these talented young ladies! Camille has began practicing for the High School Soccer Team and will be practicing with her South Whidbey Select Team at the end of June. Simone will start with her South Whidbey Select Team in Mid-June, after a nice break. This is what sparked me to write this and reach out.
I have a list of expenses coming up over the next couple of weeks, and the next couple of months. These expenses are all extra, on top of the everyday high price of raising 2 girls as a single mama.
Here's the breakdown.
Need:
- $1,000. - Camille - Select Soccer (includes Registration, Coaching, Uniform, Club Fees and new cleats!)
- $1,000. - Simone - Select Soccer (includes Registration, Coaching, Uniform, Club Fees and new cleats!)
- $1,000. - Car Repairs - Fronts brakes & 4 new tires (I just took my Taurus in for regular maintenance and found out I have 3,000 miles to get this work completed.)
- $375. - Camille - Driver's Ed Class (Now that Camille is 15, she can enroll and complete the class!)
Want:
- Misc. Summer Expenses. for Camille & Simone & Mom - Camille would like to participate in a Tennis Camp. Both girls would like to play in 1 or 2 Summer Soccer Tournaments. Since I am putting it out there, if I am able to meet the above expenses, I have a wish. It is not a big wish, but a desire to take the girls somewhere special for a night or 2, over the summer.
Payments to the Soccer Club are coming up fast, as well as the car work to get me to all the places we need to get, safely.
My mom and Jim already help me so much with so many things to keep the girls moving in the fast motion that they travel! It truly takes a village and I invite you to join our tribe. ♥
Your help will relieve me of a some of the stress I am facing currently. I have been feeling a wave of overwhelm the past few weeks. The financial relief will help me get through.
If you are able to help, in any way, to get me through some of these expenses, small or big, it would help me so much. I am truly grateful for any assistance. It is not easy to ask for help, but like I have said before, it is harder to tell the girls we have to go without.
