CWRA - Defibrillator outside The Smugglers Inn
Donation protected
Coulsdon West Residents Association are fundraising to get a Deflibrilator & Cabinet installed at the Smugglers Inn, Chipstead Valley Road.
A defibrillator is a device that gives a high-energy electric shock to the heart of someone who is in cardiac arrest. This high-energy shock is called defibrillation, and it's an essential part in trying to save the life of someone who’s in cardiac arrest.
It seems sensible to place this life-saving kit at a busy interchange like the bottom of the Rickman Hill area.
The Smugglers Inn and local Shops & Takeaways have all pledged to donate - and if we go over our target, we will also look to buy a bleed kit (for stabbings and trauma, sadly, these kits need to exist!) and hold a reserve for future servicing of the defib. Coulsdon West Residents Association Committee will manage the future servicing.
Please dig deep, and help save a life!
