Project CURA (Creighton United in Relief and Assistance) is a student-run organization at Creighton University School of Medicine that sends medical students and medical supplies to countries all over the world to provide medical education and primary intervention to underserved populations. This year, Project CURA has teams who will be serving in India, Peru, South East Asia, Uganda, and Guatemala to bring.
This summer, our team will be traveling to Guatemala to provide medical education and services to the communities of Santa Eulalia, San Lucas Toliman, and Semaje. Within these communities, we will providing eye screenings, educational presentations on general health care and health practices, and we will be working in collaboration with the medical team at Healing Hands Medical Mission (http://healinghandsmission.com/).
We are raising money to purchase medical supplies and materials for our trip. Any donation will help our team throughout this journey!!
