Help Mr. Lobo Produce an All New Season of Cinema Insomnia

Greetings, I am Mr. Lobo. I'm a producer, artist, writer, presenter, and creator of the TV series Cinema Insomnia, which is celebrating 25 years next year. It's a showcase of the unusual side of film with feature films, interviews, shorts, trailers, clips, and comedy sketches hosted by me. It has also been the showcase of many, many talented people in front of and behind the scenes. The focus has always been on imagination and creativity.

Thanks to our fans, we have our own space to make our brand of magic happen, and in 2025, we're excited to bring you a host of entertaining episodes with all the monsters, cars, sentient houseplants, angsty thespians, space gorillas, Yella Fevers, and time-traveling Lobos you can fathom.

Along with producing new episodes, Mr Lobo and the team continue to host three weekly streams—Misunderstood Movie Monday, our Cub-friendly Way Out Wild Card Cartoon Wednesday with Commander Lobo, and Saturday Cinema Insomnia Episode Watch Parties. Join the chat and share Chokky Milk Time, Big Cereal Time, games, draw-alongs, and so much more.

To help us keep the weird wheels turning and our beautiful motley community supported, we have a season budget of $50,000 we're looking to raise. This money will go towards rent, utilities, renovations, props, and paying our incredible actors, artists, and producers.

Many fans go back to our early years, and a lot of fans found us during the pandemic with our livestreams. All have gotten a lot out of what we provide and the community of fans. Our dedicated studio space allows us to be more and more prolific in creating programming. It also allows us to provide support for film festivals, creators, performers, and independent filmmakers.
