Casey and Carrie are working to raise money to go on a mission trip in support of Rachel's Lament. They have served on the board of directors for several years now, Casey for 2 years and Carrie for 6 years.
Rachels Lament works to educate and job train the needy children of Kenya. (Click the link, it will take you directly to the Rachel's Lament website). Currently we are funding the education of 25 Kenyan children, most of which are orphans.
Carrie's grandmother has been traveling to Kenya for 20 years, and at 81 she has decided to retire. Carrie and Casey are passionate about keeping this mission alive by traveling to Kenya to help the needy children.
We plan to take our trip in the beginning of August 2014, please help us reach our fundraising goal!
The money we raise will go towards the various travel expenses to Western Kenya. This includes international air travel, domestic air travel, transportation, and lodging. We also included a "mercy fund" which will help the needy people of Kenya. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask us!
