Imagine starting a new school year hungry, without basic school supplies, or the confidence that comes with being prepared. In KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, many children face these challenges every day. Families in these communities, struggling with socio-economic hardships, high unemployment, and limited resources, need our support.

Busisa Foundation, a California 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is hosting two Busisa Warm Meal and Back-to-School Events for 300 school children in KwaZulu-Natal this January. We believe that every child deserves to start their school year nourished, equipped, and inspired.

Location: 2 Robson Street, Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa

Date: Friday, January 17th, 2025

Location: Austerville Community Hall, 6 Percy Johnson Rd, Wentworth, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa

Time: 1 PM – 4 PM

What We Aim to Achieve:

Our goal is to raise $12,000 to provide:

Warm Meals: Nutritious, hot meals for 300 children at both events.

Back-to-School Essentials: School supplies, backpacks and accessories to set children up for success in the classroom.

Logistics: Transportation, event setup, and distribution of supplies.
