My wife Mandi and I started Halal Lyfestyle LLC when we were living out of our car, struggling to afford even basic necessities like a shower. We believe that cleanliness is a form of respect for ourselves and others, and that everyone deserves a comfortable home. Our journey began when we helped an elderly woman with cleaning; she gave us a spare room in her house, which allowed us to get back on our feet and find work. Through this experience, we realized that many people can't afford a polished house, but they have a beautiful spirit and appreciation for life. We began offering discounted cleaning services and lawn care to single moms, elderly individuals, single dads, disabled people, and large families—anyone who needs support. Our services are available to everyone, but those who qualify for our Built Lives Matter program receive high-quality cleaning at little to no cost, matching the value of a professional job. This work requires time, energy, a dedicated team, and a location to keep things running. We dream of creating a resource center where our services are the resources, and we plan to offer many more in the future. Our nonprofit journey has been delayed because we can't afford the paperwork fees, and we want to prove our impact to secure government support. With your help, we can cover startup costs, buy supplies, pay employees, and purchase a company vehicle. We also hope to expand into car maintenance for those who can't afford a mechanic, just as there is government-assisted transportation. We are regular people who can't get loans, but we want to see change happen and inspire others. We're asking for your support to launch a socially changing program that provides essential services to those in need. Please donate, share our story, and help us build a resource center that can change lives.
