Support Mariam Nabatanzi: A Mother's Extraordinary Love Amidst Adversities

Life Restoration House Foundation is seeking to raise funds for a housing project to provide a new home for Mrs. Mariam Nabatanzi and her 44 children, who live in abject poverty and homelessness.

In the lush village landscapes of Uganda lies a story that resonates with the power of a mother's love and the profound strength of resilience. Mariam Nabatanzi, fondly known as *Nnalongo* (mother of twins), embodies the spirit of endurance. At the age of just 12, she was married off, and today, she is the proud but weary mother of 38 living children, with 6 having passed away tragically. She is also a grandmother to seven grandchildren.

Mariam's life is a testament to courage. She was deserted by her children's father seven years ago, with no information about his whereabouts, leaving her to fend for the expansive family single-handedly. Her eldest children are now navigating through their teenage years, while the youngest are still in their formative stages. Despite her hardships, Mariam’s love and commitment to her family have never wavered.

**A Plea for Assistance**

While Mariam has been valiant in her efforts, raising such a large family requires significant resources. Here's where we come in. By lending a helping hand, we can be part of a change that will offer this deserving family a chance at a brighter future.

1. Housing and Infrastructure:

Mariam and her family live in a congested space, which, thanks to a kind donor, Julie Watts from America, has been renovated. However, there's still a need for more space. A more spacious living environment would not only provide comfort but also pave the way for Mariam to start small-scale farming projects, like rearing animals and poultry, to further support her family.
