We're the Buchanans. Right now, there are five of us, but we're hoping for two more. In 2007, Sean and Kathy took a trip to Africa and came back with a passion for adoption. Last fall, we got a call with the opportunity to adopt from a country with the highest AIDS rate in the world, where 1 out of 6 of the population was a child orphan. This was great news! The bad news is that adoption is expensive. For two kids--like we're hoping to bring home--the cost is upwards of $50,000.
