Hello, my name is Taylor Monné, and I am organizing this fundraiser for my mother, Cecilia (CeCe) Castellanos, who is currently being held in a county jail under an ICE hold. My mother is 59 years old and was born in Cuba. She was brought to the US when she was 5 months old. Since being brought to the US and adopted, she has lived in the United States for 59 years as a tax-paying citizen. My mom is a mother and grandmother. She has always been a beacon of strength for our family, and now we are fighting for her. She is detained under false accusations of voter fraud and perjury. We are currently fighting to prove her citizen status.

We have hired an attorney to file her case, but the legal fees are far beyond what we can afford on our own.

Due to her being detained, she has lost her apartment, car, and all her savings.
